Registering a visitor, step by step.

How to Register a Visitor

Registration takes under a minute and works on any phone or computer — no app to install.

1

Open your building's registration page

Your building has its own address, something like yourbuilding.regentparking.ca — check with your concierge or building management if you're not sure of yours. The registration form opens right away.

2

Enter your unit number

Type it exactly as it appears on your lease.

3

Enter your unit code

This is the private code assigned to your unit by building management — it's what confirms you're a resident before a visitor can be registered. Don't have one? Contact your concierge desk.

4

Enter your visitor's license plate

Double-check it against the vehicle — it needs to match exactly for enforcement staff to recognize it.

5

Submit

A confirmation screen shows the expiry time and how many visitor passes your unit has left this month. A small automated spam check runs in the background — there's nothing for you to click or answer.

Already registered this plate? If it's still active, the system offers to extend it by 24 hours instead of creating a duplicate — just confirm the extension on screen, no need to re-enter your details.
Monthly limits. Every unit gets a monthly visitor-pass allowance and a cap on how many days one plate can stay registered — both set by your own building's board, not by Regent Parking, and shown on your confirmation screen after each registration. Limits reset on the 1st of every month.

Common Questions

I don't have a unit code, or mine isn't working

Unit codes are assigned and reset by your building's management or concierge, not by Regent Parking. Contact them directly to get one or have it reset.

I registered my visitor but it doesn't seem to be working at the gate

Double-check the license plate matches exactly, including any spaces or characters. If it looks right and staff still can't find it, ask them to look it up by unit number instead, or contact building management.

I've hit my monthly limit

Limits are set by your board and enforced automatically — they can't be overridden at the gate. They reset on the 1st of each month. If you think you need a higher limit going forward, raise it with your building's management.

Is my information kept private?

Regent Parking doesn't ask for a phone number, and your unit code is never visible to anyone browsing the site — it's checked on our servers and only ever returns a yes or no. Registration records are kept for three years, then automatically and permanently deleted.

The site itself won't load or isn't working

That's a technical issue on our end, not your building's — email support@regentparking.ca and we'll take a look.

Still need a hand?

For a wrong unit code or your building's specific limits, contact your concierge or building management. For anything about the site itself, email us directly.
